Wing A3609. Arber's Term cat. I 130. In this copy the last two numerals of the title have been misprinted, one on the other. John Newdigate (1672/3-1705), matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford in 1688. Admitted to Gray’s Inn 1687; barrister 1694. Admitted to the Inner Temple in 1702. No reference is made to books in his will, in which he bequeathed the bulk of his estate to his older brother, Richard (in due course 3rd bart.). The nature and the extent of his library are not yet established.
