Woodcut headpiece and ornamental initials. 19th century full calf with five raised bands, new (?) title to spine, blindpressed boards, decorated in old style. Old dampstain at upper margin on the first 38 pages. Traces of the bookworm at upper margin on first apx. 70 pages. Most noticeable on pp. 57-64, the rest barely visible. Also at pages 267-280 at outer margin. Interior partially darkened due to age. Some old underlining present. Page 157/158 with some paperloss at lower outer corner, probably already during the making of the paper. Page 403 misnumbered 401. Old black stamp ‘C.E.’ on title, p. 53 and final page.
