Günter Zainer (c1430-1478) from Reutlingen, was the first printer in Augsburg. He opened his printing shop 1468 and his brother Johann Zainer opened his first shop i Ulm 1473. Due the similarities of the shops first types the Augsburg types were probably used also when opening in Ulm.
